I genuinely enjoy being around my students -- they bring energy, humor, and purpose to every day. Their creativity and growth make even the hard days worth it. The school spirit here is contagious, and it's something I'm proud to be a part of. Being in a place where students and staff care so deeply makes this school feel like a community, not just a building.
What is one thing that you would like all of the students at Artesia High School to know/learn?
One thing students should know in high school is that you don't have to have everything figured out yet -- and that's completely okay. This is the time to try things, mess up, learn what you like (and don't like), and grow from it. The habits you build -- showing up, asking for help, and treating people well -- matter more than being perfect. High school is a chapter, not the whole story.
